What scores points in Wingspan?
Nothing is scored mid-game except recording the round goals — everything is added up after round 4:
- Bird cards — the victory points printed on each bird you played
- Bonus cards — points from your private objectives
- End-of-round goals — recorded on the goal board at the end of each of the 4 rounds
- Eggs — 1 point per egg on your birds
- Cached food — 1 point per food token stored on your birds
- Tucked cards — 1 point per card tucked under your birds
How do end-of-round goals work?
The goal board has two sides. On the green side, players compete for a ranking: the more of the goal item you have, the higher your placement and the more points you record for that round. On the blue side, you simply score 1 point per qualifying item, up to 5 per round.
Either way, note the result at the end of each round — reconstructing round goals after the fact is the most common source of Wingspan scoring disputes.
